1786 New Jersey copper 1/2p M24-P W4965 R2 Narrow Shield Curved Plow Beam PCGS VF20

Peters collection, sold by Stacks on 11/30/21, where this coin was lot #8797 and sold for $456.  "1786 New Jersey Copper.  Maris 24-P, R2.  Curved Plow Beam, Narrow Shield.  PCGS VF-20.  154.10 grains.  DS1.  Beautiful hard surfaces that are quite glossy.  Fully original and well struck.  Just ever so slightly off center.  Date and all devices clear and visible.  A very nice mid-grade example for either the variety or type collector."  Not sure if that is a Stacks description or the dealer's that I bought this from, but well said!  The "Narrow Shield Curved Plow Beam and Maris 24-P" attributions are listed on the PCGS label.
