1787 New Jersey copper 1/2p, M60-p, W5340, PLURIBS reverse error, R4. This is a refreshingly original VG10 example with nice medium brown color and mostly smooth surfaces. There are a few tiny nicks on each side, but those are certainly exaggerated by my enlarged photos. Nearly everything is visible, including bold date and PLURIBS feature. Just a low grade example, but original and with a lot going for it. This is the more common of the two PLURIBS varieties: this M60-p being R4 while the M61-p is considered R5. From the Furnace Run collection, purchased on eBay in 2014.
