1787 New Jersey Copper M30-L W5090 R3 Outlined Shield EF40 EDS

1787 New Jersey copper M30-L / W5090, Outlined Shield, R3.  This is a sharp and attractive EF40 with dark chocolate brown fields with lighter medium brown highpoints.  Smooth to the naked eye, with very minor roughness and some spots of darker verdigris visible with a glass.  Early die state (EDS) sharp with nice eye appeal: much sharper, glossier, and smooth chocolate than my photos suggest.  Mike's notes say EF40, ANA 08/17/06, EDS, and 143.9gr.  Removed from PCGS VF25 holder and the label remains with the coin.  Ex-Mike Demling; to me at EAC St. Louis 05/15/22.
