1788 Massachusetts Cent 1C Ryder 12-I W6330 R4- PCGS VG8 Furnace Run collection

1788 Massachusetts Copper Cent, Ryder 12-I, Period After Massachusetts, R4-.  This coin has been authenticated and graded by PCGS as VG8, and it's a smooth attractive example with nice medium tan brown color.  The obverse is barely VG8 with some weakness at COMMON, while the reverse is fully F12 with a particularly bold eagle and date.  This is one of the Stout Indian varieties, and a very nice low-grade example.  Ex-Ebay 2012; Furnace Run collection.  REDUCED FROM $399 TO $299.
