Description
1795 C5a Liberty Cap half cent, Plain Edge No Pole, R3. This coin has been authenticated and graded by PCGS as F15, and it has choice tan color and nice eye appeal. This variety always has a faint date, but the date is fully readable to the naked eye on this example, although it does not show up well in my photo. 78.55 grains as listed on the PCGS insert, so it is definitely C5a instead of C5b. Problem-free with just a couple light carbon spots near the top of the obverse to identify the coin. The kind of color that seems to be IDEAL!
