1795 S78 Liberty Cap Large Cent R1 AG3 Struck Off-Center Mint Error

From the Early Cents Auction TNA sale on 06/03/23, where this coin was lot #221 and described as: “1795 S-78 R1 Plain Edge AG3.  A couple points sharper but covered with fine granularity. No verdigris but there are hairline scratches lost in the toning on the reverse. Slightly glossy steel brown blending to olive brown in protected areas. The date is clear. Struck 20% off center to K-8.  From the Roxanne Himmelstein Collection.”   This coin realized $384 in the auction and sure does seem like a lot of “early mint error” for the money.
