1795 S80 Jefferson Head large cent electrotype COPY.  From the 2013 EAC auction, lot #147, where it was described as: "147.  1795 S-80 Jefferson Head Electrotype Copy VF35.  Another well-executed copy from the Phil Clover collection.  The one begins as EF45 with the same pretty light brown color as the S1 electrotype earlier in this sale.  There are some light marks that reduce the sharpness grade, including a nick on the cap.  The fields are nice brown, but the highpoints of the hair and wreath that have been worn down reveal gray base metal underneath.  An excellent copy for those of us who can't afford, or even find, a real one!"  The coin realized $605 in that EAC sale ten years ago to M. Scott Barrett.
