1808/7 C2 Draped Bust Half Cent R3 Off-Center Mint Error PCGS G6

1808/7 C2 Draped Bust Half Cent, Overdate, R3.  This coin has been authenticated and graded by PCGS as G6, and more importantly, this is a major mint-error being struck at least 10% off-center toward obverse K1.  Fortunately, that strike has moved the overdate feature more toward center, making it the focal point for the obverse.  The coin itself is a rich dark chocolate brown, and the eye appeal is very nice.  Not only is this an overdate and a major Redbook variety, but the added bonus from the mint-error makes it a noteworthy piece.  The Cohen-2 attribution and the Struck 10% Off Center designation are each listed on the PCGS label.  Ex-Heritage 09/08/19 lot 3056 at $1320; Mike Demling to me at EAC St. Louis 05/15/22.
