1820 N-13 Coronet Large Cent Large Date PCGS MS65BN CAC Choice Lustrous

From the Legend Rare Coin “Regency” Auction #49 of 12/16/21, where this coin was lot #11 and described as: “C 1820 LARGE DATE. PCGS MS65 BN CAC.  FROM THE DR. STEPHEN DAVIDSON COLLECTION.  WOW! For a BN coin, this N-13 has a lot of original RED surviving in the fields and in the recesses of the crisply defined devices. A typical, blazing cartwheel luster booms all over this beautifully colorful GEM. Steely blue accents the soft brown and red accents. The eye appeal is incredible. One of a large number of Mint State coins that came from the famed Randall Hoard.  PCGS 170, NGC 130, CAC 74. We sold an example in our May 2020 Regency Auction for $2,056. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $2,500. Worthy of a very strong bid, the eye appeal is well above average for the assigned grade.  Cert.
