1857 N3 Braided Hair large cent, small date, proof-only variety, R5-. This coin is a gorgeous, glossy dark brown example that has been authenticated and graded by NGC as PR64BN. The coin appears to be totally original with some light orange toning behind the hair that attests to the coin's originality. Deep mirrors and fully struck. This is a rare proof-only variety, and this is the FIRST proof large cent that I have ever handled!
