From the Stacks Bower’s Collector’s Choice Online Auction, sold on 05/20/25 as lot #92084, and offered as: “1785 Connecticut Copper. Miller 6.2-F.1, W-2395. Rarity-3. Bust Right, Goatee. VF-35 (PCGS). 142.9 grains. Advanced obverse die state, the break is fully formed and bold beneath the chin and extends up through the effigy's chin, mouth and nose. Provenance: From the Sydney F. Martin Collection. Earlier ex McCawley-Grellman's Ludwig T. Smith Sale, January 1995, lot 83; Jim LaSarre, via John Agre and Dave Wnuck (Coin Rarities Online), June 7, 2006.” I purchased the coin out of this online auction at $480. PCGS certification# 685167.35/50989124 with “Bust Right, Miller 6.2-F.1” on the special Sydney F. Martin Collection label.
