1786 Connecticut 1/2p M1-A W2460 Mailed Bust Right R4+ PCGS VF20 Sydney F. Martin

From the Earlycoppercoins PCGS Registry Set.  Prior pedigree from the Stacks Bowers sale of the Syd Martin collection, sold on 05/20/25 as part of the May 2025 Collector’s Choice Online Auction, as lot #92093 and briefly described as: “1786 Connecticut Copper. Miller 1-A, W-2460. Rarity-4. Mailed Bust Right, Double Chin, ETLIB INDE. VF-20 (PCGS).  136.0 grains.  Provenance: From the Sydney F. Martin Collection. Ex Norweb Collection, acquired 1913-1915; our (Bowers and Merena's) sale of the Norweb Collection, Part II, March 1988, lot 2475; our (Stack's) sale of the George C. Perkins, Esq. Collection of Connecticut Coppers, January 2000, lot 213; Jim LaSarre, via John Agre and Dave Wnuck (Coin Rarities Online), June 7, 2006.”  The coin sold for $1,080 in that sale to Kevin Vinton, and I purchased the coin from him on 06/09/25.  PCGS certification# with “Double Chin, Miller 1-A” listed on the label.
