1787 Fugio Cent N12-Z W6830 R5 Raised Rims PCGS Fine

From the Furnace Run collection.  1787 Fugio Cent, N12-Z, W6830, Raised Rims on reverse label, R5.  This coin has been authenticated and graded by PCGS as Fine details environmental damage, which is interesting because the coin was removed from a PCGS VG10 holder to have the N12-Z attribution listed on the label!  So let's call this F12+ net VG10 for some minor surface roughness.  Dark brown color with nice cameo appearance, especially attractive on the obverse.  N12-Z is slightly rarer than it's Raised Rims counterpart N19-Z.  The old PCGS VG10 label remains with the coin, but this is now in a Fine details holder with Newman 12-Z Raised Rims listed on the label.   Overall an acceptable example of this rare Newman variety and key Redbook type.  Ex-eBay 2014; Furnace Run collection.
