1787 Fugio Cent N13-X W6855 R2 STATES UNITED NGC AU58

NOT from the Furnace Run collection but listed with its Fugio friends here so you do not miss it!  1787 Fugio Cent, N13-X, W6855, STATES UNITED, R2.  This coin has been authenticated and graded by NGC as AU58BN, and it's a lovely example with sharp details and excellent color.  The NGC label reads "obverse lamination," but all I see are some minor as-struck planchet flaws that are pretty darn typical with this series.  While there is very little wear, I do not see much luster, although the surfaces do have plenty of attractive gloss.  This is a very nice high-grade example for the type.
