1787 Fugio Cent N18-H W6950 R5 4 Cinquefoils UNITED STATES PCGS F15

From the Furnace Run collection.  1787 Fugio Cent, N18-H, W6950, 4 Cinquefoils with UNITED STATES, R5.  This coin has been authenticated and graded by PCGS as F15, and it's an extremely attractive medium chocolate brown with excellent eye appeal, certainly above average.  My photos suggest some minor surface chatter that is NOT visible in hand, and the overall look of this coin is quite pleasing.  This is not only a rare R5 Newman variety, but it is also the much tougher UNITED STATES Redbook variety.  The Newman 18-H attribution is listed on the PCGS label.  Ex-Ebay 2014; Furnace Run collection.
