1787 New Jersey Copper 1/2p M63-s W5375 Sprig Above Plow PCGS EF40 Large Planchet

From the Heritage sale of the James E. Blake collection on 09/05/23, where this was lot #93126, and was not described in that auction.  The coin has a nice original chocolate brown color with bold definition and nice eye appeal.  The only defect I see is a shallow scrape to the left of the shield on the reverse.  Overall a very nice example of the Large Planchet Plain Shield, with Sprig Above Plow variety.  This coin realized $1,560 in the Heritage auction, and the asking price on my website and eBay is $2,250.  Please make sure you SIGN IN to your account on my website to see discounted pricing!
