1787 M34-J New Jersey copper, Deer Head, W5115, R3. A major Redbook variety, and a sharp, glossy example with great eye appeal. Authenticated and graded by PCGS as EF Details Corrosion Removed. Despite that minor defect, this coin has really nice eye appeal and would be many multiples of the price if it were PCGS EF40. The obverse is especially sharp and pretty with ideal glossy peanut butter than brown color. Not perfect, but the eye appeal sure redeems the coin. The Maris 34-J Deer Head attribution is listed on the PCGS label. Purchased from Darwin Palmer at EAC St. Louis 05/15/22.
Please note that the details are much stronger in person than in my photos - my lighting seems to be washing out some of the details. So if you like the photos, you will LOVE the coin!
