Description

1787 New Jersey copper, M64-t, W5380, No Sprig Above Plow, R1. This is a very glossy and attractive example that grades F15+. The color is a glossy mixture of medium steel and gold, and when rotated under a light the fields are a bit too glossy which suggests an old cleaning. However the naked eye appeal is quite nice and the coin is certainly still average for the grade: I will call it F15+ net F12. Purchased from Butternut at the TNA on 06/04/22.
