Description
1787 New Jersey copper 1/2p, M18-M, W5115, Deer Head, R3. Authenticated and graded by PCGS as F15, with "Deer Head Maris 34-J" on the PCGS secure shield label. Gorgeous, glossy tan brown color with fantastic eye appeal. This example was struck over a George II British or Irish copper and weighs 151.5 grains. Just a fantastic example for the variety, and if you need a Registry Set coin, this is a nice one. But if you want a raw coin that is the same grade yet less expensive, make sure you also check out #FR3NJ19. From the Furnace Run collection, purchased from Kevin Vinton in 2017.
