1788 M77-dd New Jersey Copper, Running Fox, W5535, R2. Authenticated and graded by ICG as AG3, and it's a nice, original example for that grade. I actually think the coin is closer to G4, especially on the reverse, and it's simply well-worn with no damage. The date is faint but can be read some the help of a light, and the fox is equally legible. I think this coin would improve if it were cracked out and brushed. Regardless, this is a perfectly suitable low-grade example. Appears to be late die state #3. ICG certification# 1466940401.
