1788 New Jersey 1/2p, M67-v, W5510, Head Right, R1. Authenticated and graded by PCGS as VF35, and this is certainly a PLUS example. In fact, this was Darwin Palmer's main coin for a minute until he was able to upgrade, and I was finally able to upgrade myself (but only to an EF40!). Excellent color, surfaces, and eye appeal. PCGS certification# 767851.35/43076841 with "Head Right, Maris 67-v, Brushed Mane" on the label. Ex-Hance Jaquette collection 1983 to Fred Borcherdt; Darwin Palmer 2007; Shawn A. Yancey 06/17/24.
