1794 S-19b Liberty Cap Large Cent Head of 1793 PCGS G6 Nice Original

From the Heritage auction on 12/07/19, where this coin was lot #3499 and described as: “1794 1C Head of 1793, S-19b, B-3b, R.4, Good 6 PCGS. The doubled chin protrudes despite the expected wear on this well-circulated cent. Pleasing, chocolate-brown surfaces shows wear at the date, which is ghostlike but distinguishable, and LIBERTY retains sharpness for the grade, weakening at RTY. Small pits and microscopic roughness includes a pair of short marks or planchet defects at 7 o'clock on the obverse, while the reverse is well outlined, with only scattered small marks. Our EAC grade Good 5.”  Its not obvious in the photos, but this coin does have an easily readable date in person.  It's faint, but its still there.  This coin sold for $1,740 in that 2019 Heritage auction and carries a current PCGS Price Guide value of $4,850 for the Head of 1793 type and $6,750 for the S-19b variety.  Both of those seem too aggressive, so I will offer this beauty at $3,850 before discounts.  PCGS certification# 35519.06/38482363 with “S-19b Head of 1793” on the label.
