Description

1794 S-65 Liberty Cap large cent, Head of 1794, R1. Authenticated and graded by ANACS as AG3 in an older yellow-label holder #4418573. Typical obverse a grade higher than the reverse, with the date and lower curls especially protected by that raised rim from K6-K9. What is interesting is the reverse - what is that line which appears to be a die crack through the left stem? Most likely it's damage or some sort of undertype, but it's interesting nevertheless. Somebody will surely grab this one as a study piece . . .
