1794 S56 Liberty Cap large cent, Head of 1794, R3. This coin has been authenticated and graded by PCGS as EF45, and it is a GORGEOUS glossy peanut butter tan brown example with fantastic eye appeal. Full bold details including all hair separation, and full borders on both sides except for some weakness on the rims at lower right reverse. A glass reveals some tiny signs of contact, but this coin is certainly above average. The variety is not listed on the PCGS label, but the S56 is also the famous "Office Boy Reverse" due to the sloppy execution of the reverse die. Ex-C. Douglas Smith; Alfred Bonard; Carlyle Leuer; Tom Reynolds at TNA 06/04/22, and his notes with the coin say tied with CC3, which should make this EAC VF30+ Average+. NET-PRICED AT $10,000 SHIPPED.
