1795 C-6a Liberty Cap half cent, Plain Edge No Pole, R2+. This coin has been authenticated and graded by PCGS as G6, and it is a completely original, dark chocolate brown example with nice bold details, other than the date! The obverse and reverse would each lay claim to VG8, but like so many examples of the C-6a, I cannot make out the date on this coin. So although the PCGS Price Guide says $1,250 in G6, it also says $875 for an AG3, so I am offering this coin at $850 less discount for my website members. PCGS certification# 1018.06/20227902, with "Plain Edge, No Pole" on the label. A duplicate from the Furnace Run collection.
