1802 S239 R3 Draped Bust Large Cent Elephant Trunk ANACS EF40 EAC VF30+ Tied CC-14

1802 S239 Draped Bust Large Cent, Normal Reverse, R3.  This coin has been authenticated and graded by ANACS as EF40, and it is a gorgeous, sharp, glossy dark chocolate brown example with nice eye appeal.  Ex-Tom Reynolds at EAC St. Louis 05/15/22 who lists the coin as tied for CC14.  This variety is known as the Elephant Trunk due to a combination of obverse die cracks in front of the face that give LIBERTY the elephant's nose.  That feature is prominent on this example.  EAC grade should be VF30+ and it certainly looks HIGHER!
