1803 S-264 R4+ Draped Bust Large Cent Large Date Small Fraction PCGS AG3

From the EAC 2025 auction, lot #261 and described as: “1803 S-264 R4+ Large Date, Small Fraction, PCGS graded AG3. Glossy steel and medium chocolate brown. Smooth just a few small marks including a pit or chip low on the neck near the hair, a dull nick at the left top of the T in CENT, and another nick over the right side of the N in ONE. Terminal die state with a raised cud break that obliterates STA. The bottom of the 03 is weak and the denominator is essentially gone, but the rest of the date and most of the legends on the reverse are clear. Our grade is AG3. (The holder is lightly scuffed.) 1497.03/20843461.  Ex Douglas F.
