1819 N-8 Coronet Large Cent PCGS MS62BN EDS Greenie

From the Early Cents Auctions Houston Money Show sale of the Al Nelson collection on 01/18/25, where this coin was lot #425 and described as: “1819 N-8 R1 PCGS graded MS62 Brown. Lustrous light greenish olive and golden brown, a classic “Greenie.” Sharply struck and very attractive. There are some small contact marks scattered over both sides; the notable ones are a dull nick under the right corner of the eye and a quartet of dull ticks right of the E in ONE. Sharp EDS, Grellman state a, with sharp dentils and a line between the feet of the A & T in STATES. Most likely a survivor from the Randall Hoard of mint state cents. Our grade is MS60.
