1867 Three Cent Silver 3CS PCGS PR66+ CAC Legend Collection MONSTER Toning

1867 Three Cent Silver, PCGS PR66+ CAC, with absolutely INCREDIBLE toning!  One of the most attractive 3CS I have ever seen, and certainly deserving of the high praise from both PCGS and CAC.  As expected of a coin of this magnitude, this example shows three sales tied to the PCGS certification #, all from Legend Rare Coin Auctions.  The first sale was on 01/25/18 in Regency #XXV, where it realized $9,400.  The second sale was on 03/21/19 in Regency #31, where it realized $9,988.  The third and final sale was on 08/27/20 in Regency #40, where it sold for $7,931.  In that most recent sale, this incredible coin was lot #61, and Legend described it as: “3CS 1867 PCGS PR66+ CAC.  Ex. Legend Collection.  This earth quaking coin was from the Legend Collection of PR 3CS; not only the #1 set , but a Hall of Fame set! All the hard work has been done for you in finding what has to rank as one of the wildest toned PR 3CS in existence!  Deep and explosive mirrors beam from all over. They have extreme clarity and are loaded with powerful reflection. Overall, the mirrors are clean. However with a strong glass you can detect a light scattered line or two (that's all the keeps this coin from a PR67+). The color ranks a 10 on our famous 1-10 scale (10 is the best) we used for the wild Northern Lights Morgan Collection. Neon like shades of blue/royal blue/green/gold/violet wildly shine from both sides. Every detail is needle sharp in strike. The eye appeal is not only jaw dropping but is one you NEVER will forget!  ONLY 625 were minted. PCGS 3, NGC 0, CAC 4. In PR66+ PCGS only has graded 5 coins while grading 4 higher. Still, we have seen few other coins with toning anywhere in the series as spectacular as this coin's (take our word on that, we look at EVERY GEM PR 3CS) .
